I am a software engineer who leverages my business and creative background to deliver polished, high-impact, user-friendly products. I have a proven track record of increasing customer value and revenue, leading high-performance teams, and keeping complex projects on track. I’m passionate about mixing beauty and function, lifelong learning, and building the next big thing.
After getting an MBA, I had a successful marketing career, starting in B2B tech. I’ve had the opportunity to be an individual contributor, an executive, the person managing projects and budgets, a creative, the one who takes out the trash, a mentor, a data-wrangler, and the voice of the customer. Regardless of the specific task I’m tackling, the overarching theme of my endeavors is creating beautiful, impactful products that solve real problems.
While I loved owning the online presence of each company I’ve worked at, I was compelled to become the one writing the actual code. When I learned to program, I gained the power to build from the ground up. And the users and business goals that I would advocate for, I can more directly serve.
As a software engineer, I’ve tackled projects of increasing complexity while strengthening my skills in frontend and full-stack development, testing, UX/UI, and app infrastructure. I was responsible for the launch of two new products, leading the project while also building the frontend experience for the new offerings. I continually deployed new features in a fast-paced, always-pivoting business. I produced a widget-filled customer dashboard, expanded our React component library, and built a multi-page user onboarding flow with complicated data collection, validation, and display.
I’ve been creating user-friendly applications at velocity. I’ve made a positive impact on the codebase, revenue, team culture, and customers’ lives.
